Yahaq is an annual, upright herbaceous plant from the mustard family. It has four-petalled, purple flowers. Its leaves are edible, just like watercress leaves, and have almost the same taste. It grows in sandy and rocky soils, and the hills are suitable for propagation in gardens and spring reserves. It is cultivated from mid-October.
