Senna italica
The plant known as "al-Ashraq" is a perennial medicinal flowering plant from the legume family. It was used in ancient times for medicinal purposes. It mostly grows in valleys and water pools. Its height does not exceed 50 cm. It flowers in winter and can be propagated by seeds in stony clay and semi-clay soils.
